Forget been-there, done-that presentations that are not only boring…but painfully ineffective. Colleen brings her signature spunky style to liven up her audience and keep them engaged. Participants won’t be zoning out on their phones, nodding off in their seats, or counting down the minutes until they can finally zip out the door.

Every one of Colleen’s programs delivers a blend of “head,” “heart” and “gut” – combining her own wisdom and expertise with the most current, up-to-the-minute info your participants need to make a lasting impact in both their personal and professional lives.

Colleen’s goal is both to educate and to inspire her participants to step up their game…to finally take that bold move…and to tap into their own inner resources for doing just that.

The we can’t change because this is the way we’ve always done it mentality makes Colleen cringe every time she hears it – and she will empower your audience to step outside of worn-out mentalities into a life and a path far more fulfilling and productive.

She loves inspiring people with her sense of humor, willingness to be open about own vulnerabilities, and by sharing her own real-life stories to show participants how they too, can indeed find the freedom and joy that they crave.

Many assume Colleen was raised in a well-to-do family and groomed for an international life. Instead, she grew up in a single-parent, low income household in Kentucky. Her path to becoming a leader for women became clear at an early age. Nicknamed “Miss Independent”, she always knew she wanted to be “the boss”.

She moved to Paris at the age of 21 – hardly speaking the language -and with no money in her pocket.  She stayed for 13 years and built a successful life. Formerly a secretary, she was accepted to a globally top-ranked bilingual MBA program.  She continued taking bold actions – landing two global consulting positions. Others took notice – and Colleen eventually found herself in a rewarding new role – mentoring women.

Guests share how Colleen’s presentation had a positive impact: Colleen’s dynamic experience makes her stand out among the rest.

  • I immediately felt comfortable with Colleen which is critical to moving forward in a coaching relationship. Not only does Colleen relate very well to people, but she has exceptional skill in supporting clients to get in touch with their true selves. And, after only a few weeks of working together, I was able to come to a deeper understanding of myself which allowed me to approach my HR role with greater clarity, drive and impact.

  • Colleen has a knack for her craft. She is a natural. She uses her many layers of knowledge to come up with creative suggestions. Her gentle and guiding questions make the process of self-discovery easier and more joyful than I have ever experienced. Just about everything she said seemed to be the right question at the right time. That’s where Colleen stands out head and shoulders over other people.” Colleen displayed an adept balance between compassion and pushing me to develop. She has a great way of getting people to look at something from a different perspective and to stay in alignment with that person’s priorities. Most of all, Colleen’s caring and professional approach helped me identify and face things part of me would prefer not to and to bring out the best in me. I prefer the Newfield approach to coaching, especially the BEL [Body-Emotion-Language] model. It’s like an anchor you can sink your teeth into to examine what want you want to examine. Colleen’s approach respected that I had all the answers inside me and that her role was simply to help draw those answers out. The whole we worked together, it was clear that Colleen was in my court, that she just wanted me to be all that I can be. After working with Colleen, I am now calm, centered, empowered, Colleen has the ability to say one sentence which could completely shift my perspective.

  • Working with Colleen and Authentic Leadership has helped me so much. I was very skeptical at first but very willing to try the coaching. I decided to keep my mind open because I knew that if I didn't, I would never realize my dreams. Through working with Colleen I was able to uncover many obstacles that were standing in my way and keeping me from the success I desire. Colleen has helped me to establish a solid foundation from which I can now continue to build and hone my leadership skills in a business atmosphere. Thank you, Colleen!!!

  • Colleen is a top notch professional coach. She helped me produce a high profile, day long training event in DC and was an incredible asset to our team. We could not have pulled it off without her support, and I would be honored to have her on my team again.
